Local Government websites are a largely overlooked niche in we design and information structure. These websites are where we go to find election info, marriage licenses, contract info, etc... If these sites aren't properly build or structured it can hinder the flow of information to the voting public.
I spent the last week scouring County government websites for the state of Michigan. I based this list on the ability to find 3 pieces of information(County Commision Agenda, Minutes, Marriages License application) and the overlook look and ease of use.

Ottawa County
Kent County
Grand Traverse County
Oakland County
Monroe County
Wayne County
Eaton County
